As we move into a new year it is with great pride that we note that Goodwill will have assisted over 38,000 people with job and skill development in the 2012 fiscal year. Even more impactful is the change in the lives and careers of the 7,282 South Carolinians Goodwill has put back to work; especially given the difficulties of the current economy.
This tremendous success is due in large part to the organizations carefully selected by Goodwill to be honored at the 2013 Partners in the Power of Work Luncheon on February 13, 2013 (Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center). Each organization has provided educational opportunities, job training, and employment to those served by Goodwill.
Help us honor this year's recipients who assist Goodwill in furthering its mission:
W.R. Rogers Adult, Continuing, & Technology Education Center (Richland School District 2)
and
Lexington-Richland Alcohol And Drug Abuse Council, Inc. (LRADAC)
